Jayne Moyle and Claire Finter will be braving a 20km swim to build awareness of Alzheimer's and help raise much needed funds for the Alzheimer's Australia Dementia Research Foundation.

Sadly, the girls have experienced the heartache of dementia first-hand and know all too well the effect it has on both the individual but also their family members and close friends. This has been the catalyst which sparked the Aquatic Adventure for Alzheimer's and your support of this fantastic event would be greatly appreciated.

The 20km swim from Great Keppel Island to the main beach of Yeppoon is not only be challenging physically but also mentally, Jayne and Claire are calling on the support of the local community to donate to thier cause, but also to support them as they tackle this mammoth journey.

Also be sure to head down to the Yeppoon Surf Life Saving Club on Sunday 24 November from 12:00pm for a sausage sizzle and afternoon of fun and entertainment. There'll be something for everyone as well as raffels and prizes to be won.
