The Fitzroy Delta Festival is just around the corner and it's set to be one of the biggest days on the Central Queensland calendar!

Be sure to get along to Kerr Park in Emu Park on Saturday June 22nd from 10am to 4pm to enjoy all the festival has to offer.

All ages are encouraged to make submission in the artwork/photo competition. The theme is, 'What does the Fitzroy Delta mean to you?' which could mean anything! Maybe the delta makes you think of a calm day fishing, or a scarlet sunrise, or a teeming ecosystem, the only limit is your imagination. For more details and to make a submission click here.

There is also opportunity to become involved in the story competition. This opportunity to share stories is an all ages, all genres, chance for anyone with a great story about the Fitzroy Delta to let us all enjoy your experience. To submit an entry and read more about this competition click here.

Schools are also encouraged to participate through the Snubfin Dolphin (pictured) Fact Finder Competition. This is a great way to engage children in learning about our local environment. For more information view the fact sheet here.
